Adena Johnston

Adena Johnston serves as the Vice President of Talent Development for CCI Consulting, the largest independent human capital consulting firm in the Delaware Valley and a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise. In her role as practice leader Adena oversees leadership development, executive coaching and all organizational effectiveness engagements.

Drawing on her background in Sociology and Organizational Dynamics, and working with leaders across industries, Adena is interested in how organizations and their leaders are adapting and addressing the complexity of globalization in order to maintain competitive advantage. In addition, she is an adjunct professor teaching Sociology, Culture in the Workplace, Psychology, Leadership and Organizational Development in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at Philadelphia University.

Adena received her Bachelor and Master of Arts Degrees in Sociology from Case Western Reserve University. She then earned a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Dynamics (MSOD) from the University of Pennsylvania with a graduate certificate in Organizational Consulting and Executive Coaching. Adena is also certified as an associate coach (ACC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Adena and her husband, Eric, are proud parents to Shira who is a junior at the University of Rochester studying chemical engineering. Adena and Eric live just outside of Philadelphia and volunteer for the Ed Fund as mentors to first generation college students. They enjoy spending time in their garden, hiking, and cooking.
