David Williams

David Williams for more than 33 years has been with Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) one of the nation's leading student aid organizations which conducts its student loan activities nationally as American Education Services (AES). Beginning as a manager, he is currently Guarantor Representative for the State of Pennsylvania.

David notes that he loves the academic environment because it is "stimulating, intellectually challenging, features independence to act on one's own, and it is thought-provoking to study with colleagues and professors." His purposes for joining DSL are to advance from his current position into new areas, to engage in graduate research and to network and collaborate with area professionals.

David earned a B.B.A. from Pennsylvania State Harrisburg; B.A. in History (Cum Laude) from Misericordia University; M.B.A. from Shippensburg University; M.S. in Taxation and Ed. D. in Higher Education from Widener University; and, he is earning a second doctorate as a student in the Doctor of Management in Strategic Leadership program at Thomas Jefferson University.
