Hamid Bertal is with the City of Philadelphia's Office of Human Resources where he is responsible for developing, administering and evaluating tests/assessments and eligibility for civil service positions. Previously he was Office Manager for KassCon Building Services responsible for accounting and payroll.

Among his successful personal achievements has been organizing a summer camp for parents and their children in his community. With responsibilities for media/marketing, accounts receivable/accounts payable, adults' activities, and children's activities, Hamid notes, "It's like a small government and trying to govern a small city or township."

Born in Casablanca, Morocco, Hamid holds a B.S. in Engineering from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Hassan Ii Mohammadia University, M.B.A. in IT, Finance, and Human Resources Management from Goldey-Beacom College, and he is a Doctor of Management student in Strategic Leadership at Thomas Jefferson University.
