Myles Bassell

Following fifteen years gaining increasing administrative management experience including at Aetna and Corning, Myles for an additional ten years was a senior executive in a full-service consulting firm. In 2004, while still in his consulting role, he received an appointment as Adjunct Instructor of Economics in the Business Management Department at the Koppelman School of Business of City University of New York (CUNY). He decided to remain full-time in higher education and is currently full-time Lecturer and Deputy Chairperson, Faculty Advisor for the Association of Latino Professionals in America, and a Senator of the CUNY Faculty Senate. He has twice earned both the School of Business Excellence in Teaching award and Excellence in Service award.

Myles earned three degrees from CUNY: a BS in Business, Management and Finance, BS in Accounting, and MS in Accounting. He also earned an MS in Management from Purdue University and is currently a member of Cohort 7 in the Thomas Jefferson University Doctor of Management in Strategic Leadership program.
