Sharlene Goldfischer
Sharlene is Owner and Principal of Quintessence Coaching and holds a professional coach certification from the International Coach Federation. Her life-long interest in human behavior, human development, learning and the actualization of human potential has manifested in leadership roles in public, private, corporate, nonprofit and grassroots settings as classroom teacher, educational consultant, corporate trainer and marketing support staff and regional leader and consultant in the field of alternative education. In her current role as executive and life coach and organizational development facilitator, Sharlene specializes in leadership development and transition management. She works with new and tenured leaders to help them clarify and hone their leadership skills and build organizational engagement and effectiveness, with boards, groups, and teams to understand their roles and strengths, define their purpose, and support high performance and with individuals outside of organizations to help them gain greater self-awareness and shift thought habits to achieve goal attainment, greater fulfillment, and lasting change.
She serves on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Chapter of the International Coach Federation, the St. Joseph's University Master of Organizational Development and Leadership Advisory Board, and the Steering Committee for Intergen, a Philadelphia-based professional work group focused on strengthening intergenerational nonprofit leadership. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the National Center for Homeopathy, a national advocacy organization supporting consumer healthcare awareness and access.
Sharlene earned a B.A. in Psychology from Arcadia University, M.Ed. in Special Education from Temple University, Certificate from the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute of the Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, and she is currently a Doctoral Student in Strategic Leadership at Thomas Jefferson University.
