Sylvia Liu is co-founder and COO of China USA International where she is responsible for administrative and operational oversight including contract negotiation to support the organization's global operations. She was previously on the marketing team of Ivy Academic Consulting where she trained new marketing employees and directed marketing projects.

Sylvia notes that she is particularly focused on helping communities in rural China to find the balance between pursing economic success and preserving their cultural identities. To this end she is planning to launch a non-profit training program for English teachers in rural China to campaign for educational equality, social justice and more developed communities.

From Chengdu, PRC, Sylvia earned a B.A. in English from the University of Electronic Sciences and Technology of China, an M.S. Ed. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the Graduate School of Education of the University of Pennsylvania, and she is Doctor of Management student in Strategic Leadership at Thomas Jefferson University.
